How do I locate my JHED ID?
If you do not know your JHED ID or previously had a JHED ID, this page can help.
Students
Incoming students with no previous JHU affiliation receive a system-generated e-mail containing the JHED ID a few weeks prior to matriculating into their degree or certificate program. If you did not receive this communication, please contact Student Enrollment and Account Management (SEAM) at https://seam.jhu.edu/.
Faculty and Staff
If you are a new faculty or staff member, your manager or supervisor will provide you with your JHED ID on or before your start date. Please contact this person or your departmental human resources representative for additional guidance.
Returning Affiliates
If you were previously affiliated with Johns Hopkins, you should have been reassigned your original JHED ID (username). If you received a different JHED ID, do not set-up this account. Please contact the IT Helpdesk at (410) 955-HELP or (410) 516-HELP to reconcile the issue and avoid potential access problems.
